Meet Shrikanta Sir – A Master of 2D Animation with Over a Decade of Experience
Shrikanta Sir is a passionate and highly skilled Senior 2D Animator with more than 10 years of experience in the animation industry. He has worked with some of the most reputed studios in India, including Digitoonz, Symbiosys Technologies, Maya Animation Studio, Green Gold, and SSofttoons, contributing to a wide range of high-profile projects across television, films, and digital platforms.
At Digitoonz, he played a key role in end-to-end character animation, creating fluid and expressive movements that enhanced storytelling. His deep understanding of timing, character acting, and animation pipelines allowed him to maintain consistency with each show’s visual style while working efficiently under tight deadlines.
Some of his major contributions include:
Doctor Who (Animated Series) – Part of the core animation team, he brought characters to life with dynamic action sequences and expressive storytelling.
Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards – Animated lead characters and magical battles, helping define the show’s unique visual identity.
International Series – Adapted to a wide range of styles for US and UK-based projects, showcasing versatility in both cartoony and realistic animation.
Shrikanta Sir has also worked on beloved Indian IPs like Chhota Bheem, Little Singham, Paapometer, and Dabangg, which are household names among Indian audiences.
Known for his strong keyframing skills, attention to detail, and deep passion for storytelling through motion, Shrikanta Sir is not only a talented animator but also a collaborative team player. He continues to inspire young artists and remains open to exciting new opportunities where his creativity and technical expertise can shine.
